Blooming Tea Brewing Guide

Step 1: Warm Your Teaware

Rinse your teapot or cup with hot water to warm it up. This helps to better release

the aroma of the tea.

 

Step 2: Add Tea

Place a piece of blooming tea into your teapot or cup.

 

Step 3: Pour Water

Slowly pour 85-95°C hot water (water boiled and cooled for 1-2 minutes) over the

tea. Avoid using boiling water directly to preserve the delicate flowers and flavor.

 

Step 4: Steep and Enjoy the View

Cover and let it steep for 3-5 minutes. Enjoy the view as the flowers and leaves

unfurl and dance in the water.

 

Step 5: Savor and Re-steep

Once the liquor becomes clear and aromatic, it’s ready to enjoy. High-quality flower

teas can usually be re-steeped 3-4 times. Simply add hot water again, extending the

steeping time slightly for each subsequent infusion.
